people say that ancient egypt could never have existed without the great body of water, the nile river.the river basin next to the Nile boasts wildlife and fertile soils. This is because of the rise and fall of the Nile's water levels each year, known as inundation (rise) andrelinquishment (fall). During the inundation period, which takes place sometime around July, water would rise and fill canals made by Egyptian laborers. Sometime around the end of October, the river would begin to relinquishment, leaving rich silt deposits.The water that had been collected in the canals and basins during the inundation period was enough to supply nourishment for the crops for the next year. Crops were harvested in June before the return of the floods. The cycle somewhat reliably repeated every year, although it sometimes produced more water than
needed, which had negative effects on the crops.
Religion was considered to be very significant to the Ancient Egyptians. Egyptians and their religion were highly influenced by the culture that caused them to bring any revolution. Egyptians never questioned about the beliefs that were handed down to them and they did not intend to bring any change in their society. Their main focus was to act upon the instructions which were mentioned throughout their history. Among those powerful beliefs, one was Divine Kingship. In their belief, they considered Pharaoh as their only king and their god as well.Pharaoh was linked with Horus, son of Re the sun god. They believed after his death Pharaoh turned to an Osiris, and would support the Egyptians in their lives here after.
The ancient Egyptians invented a calendar, which causes a form of writing called hieroglyphics, and developed the papyrus (paper made from the papyrus plant). Foremost among their achievements, however, were the pyramids of Giza, including the Great Sphinx, which have been designated as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Other impressive structures were two Egyptian temples built by King Ramses II At Abu Simbel, the ruins and tombs at Abydos, and a complex of shrines and temples of Karnak. One of the oldest civilizations in the world, Egypt from 5000 to 3000 BC along the Nile, which flows into the Mediterranean Sea. Civilizations lasted until 332 BC.
To make the bricks, the ancient Egyptians invented brick molds. A mix of mud and straw was placed into the molds. Then, the molds were left out in the sun to dry. The desert heat dried the bricks for them. They could make a huge number of bricks easily
