The coasts of egypt are boarded by the Mediterranean and Red Seas. This helped because you could fish on the coasts. Also the " kingdom " never really got rain so they reilied on the annual flooding of the Nile river. Most of the Large Cites Setteled near the Nile because the country is made up of mainly dessrts.

Hear is a map showing the two coasts of egypt and the Nile river flowing through the country. If you look closly all of the major cities are next to the Nile river or by one of the seas. This is because most of the country was desart and didnt have much water.
